food with a panoramic view
the food was average quality imho. but the view was very good. granted that we could have had the view without having to burden ourselves with a high-tea buffet, but when the lady downstairs asked “where to?” and i said “equinox”, our fates were sealed. i thought very few other people would go up to equinox on a sunday afternoon, after gym, ON A COMPLETE WHIM, to experience my first (and last) once-in-a-lifetime (i say that cos it’s unlikely i’ll go back for that again…) high-tea buffet at equinox… but i was corrected the moment i got upstairs on the 69th floor. sure, it could have been the limited seats, but it was full house with the exception on one corner table… meant to seat 5, but 2 of us fitted comfortably anyway.
for those who feel they have about $40 a head to spend, the view on a good day is brilliant. but one could argue that the view at new asia bar or city space could be cheaper…
sounds nice
if it helps, think in USD and it’ll seem cheaper
